Broadwater
Owner/Director of Love2Dance
All-Stars
Tara is a former Golden State Warrior
dancer with over 20 years of Dance and Performance experience. She
has trained many award-winning and nationally ranked teams, including
the Studio’s own Love2Dance All-Stars. Tara has won many awards
for her dancing and choreography. She is very involved in the community
and continues to be active in local schools and volunteer work in
Novato. Tara encourages positive attitudes and fosters a supportive
environment, which promotes increased self-esteem and a feeling
of accomplishment. Tara makes every student feel special and welcome.
She looks forward to many more years of inspiring Novato dancers
both young and old.

Jen
Testa
Jazz Instructor
Jen is a six year veteran member the Golden State
Warriors Dance Team and is currently dancing with “La Femme
Panache”, a San Francisco based Dance and Talent Company.
Jen has been teaching and choreographing for the past 15 years.
This is her fifth year teaching at Love2Dance. Her training includes
ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics and ballroom. Her professional
dance career has taken her to many places including China, Las Vegas,
Taiwan, the Philippines, and London where she performed in The New
Year’s Day Parade. Jen’s constant creativity and fabulous
choreography continue to challenge and inspire her students while
leaving the audience in awe and the dancers wanting more.

Eilish
Roche
Hip-Hop Instructor
Eilish Roche’s dance training includes hip-hop, ballet, jazz,
and Irish dancing. Eilish was a founding member of the Love2Dance
Senior All-Stars. In addition to teaching hip-hop, she currently
coaches the Love2Dance All-Stars along with Tara and Jeanne. Her
choreography has won many top awards at regional and national competitions
from 2007 and on. Her innovative style is both challenging and unique.
She continues to push her students to reach new potential by constantly
encouraging them to clean the material learned and paying attention
to detail.
Susan
Serp
Ballet Instructor
Susan Serp is the newest faculty member at Love2Dance. Suzie's ballet
training began at the tender age of 4 years old. She joined the
Royal Winnipeg Ballet at age 19. It was there she first worked with
legendary choreographer Agnes de Mille who became her mentor. They
worked together again when she joined Oakland Ballet as a soloist
and company dancer during the Diaghilev and Copeland revival of
world recognition. Susan has also been a company dancer and soloist
at the Kalamazoo Ballet, the Paleisch Ballet Company and Ballet
Califia. Her teachings and choreography reflect her passion for
the art and the many legends of the Ballet world she has worked
with.
Karen
Gee
Business Manager
Karen has been working at Love2Dance since 2005. Her duties include
recital coordination, accounts receivable, and managing the studio
event calendar. Karen is the direct liaison between Love2Dance families
and the studio director. Karen graduated from Dominican University
in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is currently
working towards her Master's Degree in Education, also at Dominican.
Karen is available for tutoring students of all ages in a variety
of subjects, including Math, English, and History.
Jeanne
Tidwell
All-Star Co-Director
Jeanne has been involved in Love2Dance since its inception as camp
counselor, recital volunteer and participant. For the past 7 years,
she has been co-director of the Love2Dance All-Stars. She and her
husband Larry started an annual scholarship awarded to the Love2Dance
student who shares the same enthusiasm for academics and dance that
their daughter Jennifer enjoys. Jennifer was a four-year member
of The Sr. All-Star team and currently attends Chapman University.
Jeanne’s other daughter Jaime was also a member of the Love2Dance
family for many years, she currently attends Irvine University.
Dawn Gilbert
Ballet Instructor
Dawn Gilbert's performance repertoire is quite diverse, and includes playing "Connie Wong" in A Chorus Line at the age of 17, levitating as a magician's assistant, soloist in various dance reviews, a Golden State Warrior Girl and being a spokes model and riding an elephant in a long running show. She has trained and performed all over the world in many facets of dance including ballet, Pointe, classical jazz, hip hop, gymnastics, flamenco, and modern to name a few. Dawn has produced, directed and choreographed many shows including Miss Nevada 2000 and 2001, which is a preliminary to Miss America and Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen 2006. She has coached many young teens and women to win scholarships in the pageant world. Finally and most recently, she became a judge and dance coach for Women's Gymnastics.

Trey
Wright
Guest Choreographer
Trey Wright is new to the Bay Area, and brings styles
of popping, locking, b-boy, and crumping to Love2dance. Trey is
originally from Florida where he has been dancing for 14 years.
He studied at Crown Studios in Orlando, and was on Deja Vu, Hit
Squad, and Kut Som dance crews. His crews performed at night clubs,
concerts, and charity events. Trey is a sports enthusiast, including
football, basketball, baseball, and of course, dance.
Maher
Misif (Mischief)
Guest Choreographer
Maher AKA B-Boy Mischief is a member of a Hip Hop
collective known as Urban Apache. He has been dancing all of his
life and enjoys music and art. Maher has trained with top
B-Boys known around the World and has developed an original style
of footwork, top rocks, freezes, transitions, power moves and musicality.
He can be seen performing (battling) throughout the Bay Area.
