photoTara-Caprice Broadwater
Owner/Director of Love2Dance All-Stars
Tara is a former Golden State Warrior dancer with over 20 years of Dance and Performance experience. She has trained many award-winning and nationally ranked teams, including the Studio’s own Love2Dance All-Stars. Tara has won many awards for her dancing and choreography. She is very involved in the community and continues to be active in local schools and volunteer work in Novato. Tara encourages positive attitudes and fosters a supportive environment, which promotes increased self-esteem and a feeling of accomplishment. Tara makes every student feel special and welcome. She looks forward to many more years of inspiring Novato dancers both young and old.

photoAimee Dietrick
Aimee has been dancing for 24 years. She has trained in many dance styles including: hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap and character. Aimee's love for dance has fueled her to study in New York, perform as cruise line entertainment and make special guest appearances at numerous events. She has choreographed and collaborated on various shows and productions since she was 15 years old. Aimee has taught at dance studios in Oregon and throughout Northern California and teamed with Rauly Duenes as co-director of Fierce Dance Company. Aimee’s latest production project is choreographing for the band, The Fans of Jimmy Century, a Las Vegas electronic/alternative dance band. She also performs with the DJ live drum group Robot DeNiro, based out of San Francisco. She currently directs her own dance company, ADC. Aimee believes, "Passion is movement. Dance is an expression of who you are on the inside...beauty, devotion and confidence, art in motion."

Business Manager/Instructor

Jeanne has been involved in Love2Dance since its inception as camp counselor, recital volunteer and participant. For the past thirteen years, she has been co-director of the Love2Dance All-Stars. In addition to her involvement in the All-Star program, Jeanne brings her 30 years of experience to the studio as office manager and tap teacher. Jeanne's expertise is a welcome addition to the studio's day to day activities. Her husband Larry and daughters, Jennifer and Jaime, also continue to be important members of the Love2Dance family.

photoDawn Gilbert
Dawn Gilbert's performance repertoire is quite diverse, and includes playing "Connie Wong" in A Chorus Line at the age of 17, levitating as a magician's assistant, soloist in various dance reviews, a Golden State Warrior Girl and being a spokes model and riding an elephant in a long running show.  She has trained and performed all over the world in many facets of dance including ballet, Pointe, classical jazz, hip hop, gymnastics, flamenco, and modern to name a few.  Dawn has produced, directed and choreographed many shows including Miss Nevada 2000 and 2001, which is a preliminary to Miss America and Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen 2006. She has coached many young teens and women to win scholarships in the pageant world. Finally and most recently, she became a judge and dance coach for Women's Gymnastics.


photoCarolyn Pettit
Carolyn has been dancing since she was three years old. She studied all types and styles of dance at That's Dancin'/Gold Coast Ballet in southern California. Carolyn has also trained under Los Angeles based choreographers Michelle Zeitlin of ZAP Productions and Randy Rene of the Body Architect. Carolyn graduated from Sonoma State University and works at a Larkspur based consulting company as their Human Resources Specialist. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Human Resources. Carolyn began her time at Love2Dance as a student and is excited to be a part of the Love2Dance teaching staff. Carolyn also facilitates the studio's birthday parties.


photoJamie Schenone
Jamie has been involved with Love2Dance since its inception in 2002. Jamie has been dancing since she was in middle school and she loves performing and working with children. Jamie works full time as an employee of the Early Learning Institute in Rohnert Park, a company dedicated to providing and promoting developmental services, education, and support to children and their families, Jamie has a wide range of experience interacting with children of all ages. We are happy to have Jamie as part of our team of dance instructors.


photoAshley Acquistapace-Miller
Ashley began dancing over 24 years ago. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern/contemporary, and Laban Movement Analysis. She has taught dance to all ages, and she has choreographed for and coached many competitive dancers. Ashley graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sonoma State University with degrees in Theater Arts/Dance and Liberal Studies. Additionally, she received her teaching credential from Dominican University of California. Ashley currently teaches fifth grade at Vallecito Elementary School in San Rafael, and she is thrilled to be teaching ballet technique at Love2Dance.


photoLizzy Rice
Lizzy started dancing when she was 2 1/2. She has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip-hop, and Character at The Nancy Doize School of Dance in San Jose. In High School she competed for the Doize Dream Team, and was crowned the Doize Dream Teen. During this time she also taught dance classes and summer camps. She recently graduated from Dominican University of California with a B.S. in Biology. She participated in the cheer/dance team all four years and was captain/coach of the team for her last three. Lizzy is excited to share her passion for dance and technique with the students of Love2Dance.
